Paul Crawford

Paul Crawford (b. 1947) was born in Toronto but spent his childhood in Calgary, where he began studies in piano, voice and organ. While at McGill University he studied composition with Bruce Mather and Harry Freedman. Following a five year period working as a music producer for CBC radio in Toronto and Ottawa, he moved to Nelson, British Columbia, where he taught music for 12 years. In 1990 he moved to Victoria, BC, to pursue academic studies in Psychology and Education, obtaining a M.A. in Educational Psychology in 1995 and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1998. Currently he lives in Trail, B.C., where he has a private music studio.
