Water has always been a popular subject amongst composers. Last Thursday's concert given by Adam Sherkin at the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto, titled Water Makes You Dream, illustrates why water remains so fascinating.

We have started to look for a concert grand for the new space at Chalmers House. So far we have visited Paul Hahn Pianos and Robert Lowrey's Piano Experts. Adam Sherkin, CMC associate composer and performer, and Christina Petrowska Quilico, CMC voting member and performer, are helping us out with this important and exciting job. Do you know of a piano looking for a home? Please let us know if you do.
