Programme Note:
"In Flanders Fields" is a work created for SATB chorus and string quartet. The text is written by the Canadian military doctor and poet Major John McCrae. With wars still raging in Afghanistan, Darfur and Iraq and with ongoing instability in the Middle East, I found the text to John McCrae’s poem of May 1915 to be timeless.
