The “Portrait of a Friendship” Concert is on stage to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Canada and Israel. The program based on the rich cultural heritage of Israel and Korea, emphasizes one of the most important human values, “friendship”. As a symbol of friendship between two countries, the program is focused on two internationally acclaimed composers and long standing friends, Ofer Ben-Amots (Israeli-American) and Gideon Gee-Bum Kim (Korean-Canadian). It also includes many Canadian and Ontario premieres.
