Description:

This 5th concert of Classical Unbound Festival's 2017 festival season is set in the Grange of Prince Edward Winery. Wine tastings, and Caroline Granger (owner) will have her well-known picnic-box foods available for intermission nibbles or to satisfy pre-concert peckishness.

The Ironwood Quartet is comprised on Canadian musicians, Jessica Linnebach, Carissa Klopoushak, David Marks and Julia MacLaine. These musicians spend most of their musical time playing with the National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO). The quartet was born out of the NAC's WolfGANG Sessions, which mixes contemporary and 'indie' classical with adventurous collaborations between NACO musicians, video projection artists and DJs.
