Darren Creech brings passionate energy (with a shimmer of flair) to the concert stage, and his playing has been heralded as "remarkably fresh and enticing" by the Toronto Star's John Terauds. Collaborating with Juno-nominated composers Norbert Palej and James O'Callaghan, Darren has been featured in recital at the Royal Ontario Museum and the Canadian Music Centre, and toured major Canadian cities with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. He has worked with pianists Jane Coop, Marc Durand, Anya Alexeyev and Elaine Lau, conductor Howard Dyck, and soprano Sondra Radvanovsky. Having grown up in Senegal, West Africa, Darren draws on his transnational experiences to inform his playing. Darren is currently pursuing a Masters of Music at l'Université de Montréal, studying with Maneli Pirzadeh.
