About CMC

Since 1959, we’ve been proudly supporting, preserving and promoting the works of Canadian composers.

Not only do we maintain an extensive archive of scores and works of Canadian composers, we also strive to make it easily accessible through our lending library, publishing house and repertoire consultation service. We also offer quality commercial recordings through our award-winning Centrediscs label and archival recordings via CentreStreams, our online streaming service.

For our Associate Composers, CMC is a valuable resource where they can be sure their music gets the attention and exposure it deserves. We’re always looking for new ways to showcase our Canadian talent whether it’s through our website and social media, or by way of conferences, sponsorships or educational programming. And of course, by hosting live performances and events across the country.

But most important, the CMC is about connecting the world with Canadian music and the talented people who create it.
